FREE USB SAFEGUARD DOWNLOAD
How to protect data on USB stick ? Today i write a short review about a useful program for this problem. The pendrive or USB stick is commonly known for its convenience because they can contain more than 30 gigabytes of data. And if we lose it ? And if there were important data on it as secret documents or usernames and passwords to access bank accounts, post online ? A pickle. So how to protect data stored on pendrive ? Simple, USB SAFEGUARD, free software to encrypt and protect data on USB memory keys and different.
This software I describe below, allows data encryption with algorithms type AES 256 bits, very efficient.
List the basic features of USB SAFEGUARD :
- Requires no installation and it is portable.
- Encryption using AES algorithm with 256 bits.
- Create unique password to access the data.
- Ability to encrypt up to 2 gigabytes of data.
- Virtual keyboard to enter the password from video and keyboard.
- Complete destruction function of data.
- Viewing e-mail address and telephone number.
- Updated for Windows 7.
We explain the various functions. First, once downloaded, just copy the files on the stick and start it. We will have various functions. We can decide to encrypt the whole stick or part there of, then, folders, files, documents, videos, music, etc ... up to a maximum of 2 Gig, so it is important only encrypt important data. Create a unique password that will allow us to access the contents of the pendrive and, moreover, we add our e-mail and our phone number - phone so that, if lost stick, there may also be returned. But there's more, because, as in detective films, we can also make the attempt to access, via incorrect password, the data contained within are removed and destroyed forever.
And what's more, if we access to pendrive from a computer and maybe we suspect there is a keylogger installed on own PC (the keylogger copy and stores in a file everything typed on keyboard), helps us a useful USB SAFEGUARD function that allows us to enter the password via a convenient virtual keyboard (see image below).

Protect data on USB stick is more important today, because of the smallness of these devices, it is easy to get lost and go into the hands of unsavory people.
